Book talks, computer basics at the library

Book talks and computer tutorials are on deck at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library next week. Monday at 1 p.m., the Monday Afternoon Book Discussion group will be exploring Pompeii by Robert Harris. Register at findlaylibrary.org/events to be sent a link to join the discussion. Tuesday at 7 p.m., individuals that have registered at libraryc.org/findlaylibrary will have the opportunity to participate in a virtual discussion and Q & A with bestselling author Rebecca F. Kuang. She will be discussing her novels, Yellowface and Babel. More information about the author and the book are available at findlaylibrary.org. This program is presented in partnership with the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. Mini Meet-up takes place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday and Friday in the Children's Programming Room in the Children's Department. This is a free playtime opportunity for little ones to socialize and explore new games, toys, and activities that are educational and fun while meeting other families. This program is for infants to 36 months with their caregivers. Older siblings are welcome. Computer Basics is scheduled for Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Lindamood Room.
