Findlay Digital Academy graduates 94

FINDLAY — Findlay Digital Academy proudly graduated 85 high school students and 9 adults last Saturday. The afternoon ceremony was held at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, and a reception followed in Armes Hall. FDA offers a fully online curriculum, an option for students who prefer a non-traditional school setting or have other reasons a different or personalized curriculum might work better for them. The academy's 85 high school graduates are from the Findlay City and area school districts. Students at FDA are at full-time status enrolled in a minimum of five classes, unless fewer are needed to graduate, the academy's website states. The 9 adults who graduated Saturday are from the school's 22+ Adult Diploma Program, a free program available to anyone 22 or older who lives in Hancock County and has not previously earned a diploma or High School Equivalence Diploma. The Ohio Department of Education offers the program through Findlay Digital Academy and other institutions to help adults earn a high school diploma and improve their workforce skills, the site states.
