Ohio Logistics warehouse plans approved

FINDLAY — Findlay City Planning Commission on Thursday approved plans by Ohio Logistics to build a 207,904-square-foot warehouse on the northeast edge of Findlay. The warehouse, which reportedly will serve a local company, will be built on the east side of Hamlet Drive, just south of County Road 212. It would include 22 truck docks. Construction is slated to start in July and be completed in July 2025. "We just want to continue to invest in Findlay and we think there's opportunities for it, so we're going to go ahead and build it," said Chuck Bills, chief executive officer of Ohio Logistics. The company is anticipating adding 15 to 20 employees associated with the new warehouse, Bills said. It currently employs about 250 at its various buildings in Findlay. It owns the Flag City Executive Office Suites, at the corner of Tiffin Avenue and Bright Road; two warehouses, together totaling about 50,000 square feet, in the area of Cooper Tire and the Findlay Airport; three warehouses, together totaling 920,000 square feet, in the area of Tall Timbers Industrial Park; buildings at Ohio Logistics Business Park, together totaling 475,000 square feet, on Distribution Drive north of Township Road 99. Tesla charging station approved Separately, the planning commission approved a request by Tesla to install an electric vehicle charging station at Bell Stores Car Wash, at 1215 W. Main Cross St. Twelve charging stations will be installed along the west side of the car wash.
