Adams, Alge among winners at FAGA event

Nathan Alge fired a 76 at Fostoria Country Club Wednesday, winning the boys 16-18 division by two strokes Tuesday in the Findlay Area Golf Association's event. Alge topped AJ Iliff, who recorded a 78, and Cole Bishop, who notched a 79, earning third place in a playoff. In the girls 14-18 division, it was Addyson Adams who emerged the winner, scoring an 82 and outdistancing EmmaLee VonLehmden by 11 strokes. Sarah Combs came in third with a 94. Meanwhile, Owen Vick's 84 won the boys 14-15 division, Kyle Hepp (78) claimed first in the bits 12-13 division. In the boys 10-11 division, Sevi Adams put up a 41 over nine holes to win, in the girls 10-13 division, Trysta Adams shot a 56 for the victory. FAGA will be back in action Thursday at Loudon Meadows. (14-sub head) DeBolt first GENEVA – Findlay's Reuben DeBolt won three events in his age division at the USATF Midwest Regional Outdoor Championships held at the SPIRE Academy in Geneva. Competing in the 75-79 division, DeBolt placed first in the high jump (4-1.2), long jump (12-5½) and 60-meter hurdles (16.64).
