Memorial for Miller family

CASTALIA — A vigil will honor the three people who lost their lives in a car crash in Seneca County last week. The public is invited to attend a memorial for Connor Miller, 13, a Margaretta student; Joseph Miller, 41, his father; and Richard Miller, 67, the grandfather of Connor and father of Joe. It will take place at 9:10 p.m. on Thursday at a practice field by Margaretta High School, 209 Lowell St., Castalia. "The Margaretta family will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time," a Facebook post from Margaretta Schools states. There will be a candle lighting, biodegradable balloon release, community prayer, refreshments and student memories at the vigil. There will also be an opportunity to give to the Miller family. Visitation for Richard, Joseph and Connor will be from 1-7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday at Faith Church, 3020 E. Strub Road, Sandusky. Pastor Wayne Keith will officiate and burial will be in Castalia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Miller Family Fund, in care of Civista Bank, 208 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH 44824, in lieu of flowers.
