Woman charged with assault

A Findlay woman was indicted recently by a Hancock County grand jury, alleging she assaulted someone under her care. Amber A. Buena, 39, of 245 E. Winterwoods, Apt. 101, was charged with a fourth-degree felony count of assault. The indictment alleges that Buena caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a functionally-impaired person under her care. In other indictments: Richard Dawson, 23, of 1200 Putnam St., Apt. 112, was charged with a fifth-degree felony count of domestic violence. Timothy L. McWilliams, 39, of Versailles, Missouri, was charged with interference with custody, a fifth-degree felony. McWilliams is alleged to have been in Hancock County with a 17-year-old girl from Missouri without her parents' permission. Joslynn R. Springer, also known as Joselyn R. Springer, 20, of 227 Edith Ave., was charged with a fifth-degree felony count of aggravated possession of drugs. Jeffery A. McClaflin, 37, of Bradner, was charged with a fifth-degree felony count of possession of cocaine.
