Genoa remained winless at 0-5. KENTON 3RIVERDALE 2KENTON – Riverdale twice overcame one-goal deficits but Kenton got the game-winner in the 76th minute in edging the Falcons 3-2 in boys soccer action.Cameron Snook and Gage Miller scored goals and Cody Flowers-Barger had an assist for Riverdale (2-3). Reydon Bishop made three saves for the Falcons. GIRLS SOCCER U. SANDUSKY 8GALION 0GALION – Shiloh Shasteen scored three goals during a seven-minute first half barrage and capped a big day with an assist in powering Upper Sandusky's girls soccer team to an 8-0 romp over Galion.Grace Walton had two goals and an assist for Upper (3-2), Emilee Ham had one goal and an assist and Erica Ruhlen added two assists.The Rams had a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal..CELINA 7BLUFFTON 3CELINA – Celina forged a 4-2 halftime lead and held off Bluffton 7-3 in Saturday's girls soccer matchup.Allana Carroll and Rachel Rammell scored two goals each as Celina upped its record to 5-1. Aubrey Burkholder scored all three goals for Bluffton (3-1-0), with Mya McDoogle and Jaicelyn Morris credited with assists. COL. GROVE 8FT. JENNINGS 0COLUMBUS GROVE – Columbus Grove's girls soccer team has outscored its opponents 22-1 this season and that trend continued on Saturday when the Bulldogs blanked Fort Jennings 8-0 in a Putnam County League match.Lauren Auchmuty led Grove with three goals and two assists. Ella Dotson had two goals and two assists and Ruth Myers and Alyssa Kuch had one of each. Allison Thompson had the other goal for the Bulldogs, who climbed to 3-0-1 with the win. Fort Jennings fell to 1-5. RIVERDALE 3 KENTON 0 KENTON -- The Bonham sisters collaborated on a pair of goals, and Ryleigh Howard collected her first shutout in goal as Riverdale shut out Kenton, 3-0. For the first 15 minutes of regulation, the game was scoreless. Mariah Bonham broke the stalemate when she converted a pass from her sister Marissa at 25:17. The Falcons went up 2-0 when Mariah scored off another Marissa assist with 34:14 left in regulation. Brooke Durenberger put the finishing touches on the win when she converted an assist from Kennedy Phelps with 9:15 remaining. Riverdale outshot the Wildcats 33-1, with 16 shots on goal. Ruby Styer made 13 saves for Kenton.
