LEIPSIC 3 COL. GROVE 0 LEIPSIC – Danaysia Danzy lined 14 kills and seven digs, and Leipsic – the No. 3 team in Division VII – moved to 15-0 with a 25-21, 25-5, 25-15 PCL win over Columbus Grove. Karmyn Brough dished out 32 assists for the Vikings, while Morgan Apple registered eight kills, 10 digs and served two aces. Jazelle Perez smashed eight kills and Jaelyn Siefer recorded 10 digs. H. NORTHERN 3 RIDGEMONT 0 Baylie Bacon slammed 10 kills and served six aces as Hardin Northern rolled past Ridgemont 26-24, 25-15, 25-7. Kendall Frank dished out 21 assists while recording 12 digs for the Polar Bears, while Lainey Thomas recorded 21 digs and two aces and Catherine Overs notched four kills, 17 digs and four aces. Corrin Luginbill added 18 kills for the Rockets, while Nevaeha Alvarado recorded eight. Ava Huffman had 32 digs and Luci Hovest had 21. MOHAWK 3 CAREY 1 SYCAMORE – Parker Vackert registered 13 kills, three blocks, eight digs and two aces, and Carey held on for a 31-29 win in Game 2, but undefeated Mohawk –the No. 4 team in Division VII – outlasted its N10 rival in four. Mohawk won the first game 25-19, then took Game 3 25-12 before finished off the Blue Devils, 25-20. The Warriors improved to 14-0, 9-0 in the N10. The Blue Devils – who received five aces and 30 assists from Payton Vackert – moved to 10-5, 6-3 in the conference. Rylie Stoops recorded 22 digs and five kills for the Blue Devils, while Emily Brodman added nine kills and two blocks.
