Art League announces fall show winners

FINDLAY — Findlay Art League announced the winners of the Annual Fall Juried Show at a reception on Nov. 1. The juror for the show was Christopher Pickett of Toledo. Winners and honorees were as follows: Best of Show: Linda Lehman for a watercolor collage titled "What Lies Within". 1st Place: Dennis Zimmerman for his watercolor on yupo painting titled "Walk in the Woods". 2nd Place: Matteo Filippi for his photo called "Lady in Brown". 3rd Place: Judy Scrimshaw for "Dark Side of a Moon", fused glass. Award of Merit: Kelly Miller for her charcoal and graphite drawing titled "Les Elephants" Award of Merit: Citlaly Tobon for "I Wish I Was", ceramic. Honorable Mention: Emily Jones for her mixed media piece called "We Live to Die" Honorable Mention: A Man Called Timmy for "Psycho Birdhouse", a mixed media piece. Honorable Mention: Gwen Kuenzli for her basswood carving titled "Since When Did I Become a Political Meme?" The show will be on display in the gallery at 117 W. Crawford St. until Nov. 22. Viewing hours are from 12:30-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, and from 12:30-4 p.m. Saturday.
