Cuellar takes over at Cory-Rawson

Ralph Cuellar must be getting pretty comfortable with green and gold. More than 15 years ago at Tiffin University, first under Rodney Martin and then John Hill, Cuellar was a physical power forward who played for four seasons, then played a season on the TU football team. Now, Cuellar will be leading the Cory-Rawson boys basketball team, a squad that had a successful debut in the Northwest Central Conference last season, going 6-3 in league games. Most promising for Cuellar and the Hornets is that C-R returns some of their top players in 2024-25. Preston Stumpp, a 6-foot-3 senior forward who was an honorable mention all-NWCC selection is back, as is sophomore guard Carson Reese and junior forward Austin Inbody. It's an experienced squad, with seven of the nine players listed on the varsity roster either juniors or seniors. The exceptions are a pair of freshmen: Colin Sons and Logan Inbody. The Hornets also have some impressive size on this year's team, starting with forward/center Sam Burnett, who stands at 6-foot-7. Tremell Foster, Cartier Davis and Tyler Inbody also figure to play a role on this season's Hornets.
