Harris erupts for 25, Findlay wins opener

FINDLAY 54OREGON CLAY 39OREGON – Graduation hit Findlay High's girls basketball program hard this season.The Trojans got 25 points from freshman Davinee Harris, though, and good balance overall in beating Oregon Clay 54-39 on Friday in the 2024-25 season opener for both teams.Ali Cox and Addy Rood added seven points each and Mya Hammer had six. The middle two periods were dead-even between the Trojans and the Eagles. Findlay outscored Clay 13-9 in the first quarter, though, and 18-4 in the fourth.Harris was 12-of-14 from the line, grabbed eight rebounds and had four steals.
