Findlay defense shuts down Spartans, 55-28

FINDLAY &emsp;&emsp;55 LIMA SENIOR 28 LIMA – Lima Senior's girls basketball team had been averaging 51 points a game in jumping out to a 6-2 start to the 2024-25 season. Findlay amped up the defense, though, holding the Spartans to a little over half their offensive average in beating the Spartans 55-28 in a nonleague matchup at Lima Senior. Freshman Davinee Harris and Abana Dotson, a sophomore, both scored 16 points. Addy Rood, also a freshman, and junior Mihaya Saito both added eight points for the Trojans (6-2), who travel to St. Marys Memorial on Saturday before the Christmas break. Lima Senor fell to 6-3 with the loss. (14-sub head) Wrestling ADA – Ada split a wrestling tri-match on Wednesday, beating Riverdale 42-28 while falling by a point to Kenton, 35-34. Lane Easton (285) went 2-0 with a pair of pins and Silas Riblet (120) and Liam Vieira (144) both won by pin and tech fall for Ada.
