Virtual author talk and book discussions abound at the library

FINDLAY — The following programs are scheduled at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library the week of Jan. 12-18. First, a reminder: the elevator at the library is out of order as staff waits for a part to repair it. Items can be brought out to patrons' cars, if they park in one of the curbside parking spots on Broadway in front of the library and call 419-422-1712. Mini Meet-Up is scheduled for Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. in the Children's Programming Room. Children can drop in and play with a selection of the library's toys. Explore new games, toys and activities that are educational and fun while meeting other families. This program is for children with their caregivers. At 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Administration Office, the Thrills and Chills Book Discussion group will talk about "When a Killer Calls" by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. Join in the suspenseful discussion of a legendary criminal profiler tracking down a serial killer in a small town. Author TJ Klune joins virtually on Wednesday at 7 p.m. to discuss his newest series, Somewhere Beyond the Sea.
