Allison erupts for 26, Tigers notch 15th victory

ADA – Lacie Allison scored 26 points – 14 in the fourth quarter – and North Baltimore broke open a close game in the fourth quarter, knocking off Ada, 45-37. Allison made eight field goals – two 3s – and went 8 of 8 from the foul line. Josselyn Paynter added seven points for the Tigers. She helped NB outscore Ada 17-7 in the final frame. North Baltimore and Ada combined for 35 first quarter points, and the Tigers were up 18-17 after one. But both teams went cold for a bit after that. North Baltimore outscored the Bulldogs 4-1 in the second period, and 12-6 in the third. Ada's offense was paced by Anna Conley's 14 points. Lexi Poling added eight points for the Bulldogs. The Tigers ended their regular season at an impressive 15-7. It will host Cory-Rawson in a Division VII postseason opener Saturday.
