Findlay swimmer Abbott qualifies for national meet

Findlay's Tillie Abbott has already competed in state level events. Now she will be takings her talents to the national stage after qualifying for the 2025 National YMCA Short Course Swimming Championship in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events.As a freshman at Findlay High last season, Abbott qualified for the Division I state meet in both freestyle events, eventually placing 30th in the 100 (54.05) and 32nd in the 50 (24.85). Abbott swims with the YMCA Frogs during the short course season and has achieved qualifying marks in both events for the National YMCA Short Course Swimming Championships to be held from March 31 through April 4 in Greensboro, N.C.
