McComb Lions Club honors Citizen of the Year

The McComb Lions Club honored local resident Sarah Kryling as their 2025 Citizen of the Year at an April meeting. Kryling is a 2007 graduate of McComb High School and earned her bachelor's degree in education at the University of Findlay and a master's degree at Bowling Green State University. She currently resides outside McComb with her husband Jason and their two children. Wanting to get involved in the community Sarah joined the McComb Community Partnership which holds the Cookie Festival every summer. Under Sarah's leadership the festival has been revitalized and has grown in attendance the past few years. She spent countless hours planning and reaching out to businesses and individuals for donations. Sarah's passion for planning events did not stop with the Cookie Festival. Her leadership, enthusiasm and energy has led to the Hometown Christmas event being held in McComb plus the new Farmer's Market which will be starting next month in the community. The club has been honoring individuals which have contributed to Village of McComb and/or the McComb Public School System since 1974.
