Knights of Columbus awards 11

FINDLAY — Findlay's Knights of Columbus #957 has given 11 scholarships to local students. Three winners will receive a $1,150 scholarship: Carson Skulina, son of Mike and Beth Skulina, graduated from Cory-Rawson High School, enrolled at The Ohio State University, studies Biology with a pre-health specialty Nathen Marchal, son of Jeff and Heidi Marchal, a Findlay High School graduate, plans to attend Trine University and study Electrical Engineering John Paul Gray, son of Michael and Kailin Grey, will graduate from Findlay High School, plans to go to West Point Academy One recipient will receive a $550 scholarship: Clayton Holtzwart, son of John and Amy Holtzwart, will graduate from Findlay High School, plans to attend The Ohio State University to study Accounting Seven winners will receive a $500 scholarship: Olivia McDaniel, daughter of Christopher and Christine McDaniel, a graduate from Liberty-Benton High School, enrolled at Miami University, studies Accounting and Finance Ryan Strapp, son of Jeremy and Jenifer Strapp, a Van Buren High School graduate, enrolled at Ohio Northern University, studies Music Education. Trevor Ferris, son of Nick and Beverly Ferris, a Liberty-Benton High School graduate, plans to attend Bowling Green State University to study Business. Olivia Schroeder, daughter of Kent and Jill Schroeder, will graduate from Findlay High School, plans to attend Ohio Northern University to study Nursing. Samuel Swisher, son of Sean and Allison Swisher, will graduate from Findlay High School, plans to attend the University of Dayton to study Finance Davin Montalbine, son of Chris and Michelle Montalbine, a Liberty-Benton High School graduate, enrolled at John Carrol University, studies Exercise Science Justy VonLehmden, son of Paul and LauraLee VonLehmden, a St. John's Jesuit High School graduate, enrolled at John Carrol University, studies Finance Starting in 1989, the council has awarded 88 scholarships to 65 recipients for over 35 years.
