C.C 1FINDLAY – Findlay's stretch of shutouts ended on Monday, but the Trojans' winning streak did not.Reese Stillings pitched a three hitter and Blade Wendt and Luke Crates delivered clutch RBI singles as Findlay posted its fifth straight win, edging Toledo Central Catholic 2-1 in a nonleague game at Woody Curlis Field.Findlay's pitching staff had shut out four straight opponents. Central Catholic (5-17) ended that scoreless streak with a run in the top of the second, but Findlay tied it in the bottom of the inning and pushed across the game-winning run in the last of the seventh to improve to 13-6 on the season.Stillings struck out four and walked one in a complete game effort. A senior right-hander with a 5-1 record, Heilman struck out seven, did not walk a batter and was backed by errorless defense. He threw just 46 pitches in the five-inning game, 34 of them for strikes.Upper, 16-3 overall, ended N10 play with a 12-2 record. Mohawk has a shot at a share of the crown as well.
