Library to host state budget update

FINDLAY — An informative presentation on the state budget is being held at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library featuring insight from president of Williams Nonprofit Consulting Jennifer Williams and Director of the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library Sarah Clevidence at 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the Lindamood Room. The presentation will include an overview of the state budget process as well as an examination on how budgetary decisions at the state level impact services in the local community, including public libraries. With over two decades of experience in nonprofit advocacy and policy, Williams helps organizations navigate and respond to government changes. Clevidence serves as the Library director and offers a direct perspective on how the state budget shapes public services and library operations. The event is designed to help local community members better understand how Ohio's budget decisions affect the area. Registration is not required.
