Sandusky St. 2025-069, as amended, second reading, authorizing the mayor to accept permanent ownership of four flood mitigation properties on behalf of the city of Findlay that were purchased by the Hancock County Board of Commissioners, and declaring an emergency. The properties are located at 817 E. Main Cross St., two at 230 E. Front St. and 615 Howard St. 2025-071, second reading, appropriating $680,500 for the city's fourth round of capital improvement spending in 2025, and declaring an emergency. 2025-074, second reading, authorizing the mayor to enroll the city of Findlay in an Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation group retrospective rating plan, and declaring an emergency. 2025-075, first reading, appropriating $90,000 from the sewer fund to the Western Avenue Sanitary Sewer Repair Project, and declaring an emergency. Motion to suspend council's three-reading rule approved 9-1, with Councilwoman Holly Frische, R-1, opposed. 2025-076, first reading, appropriating $2.5 million from the general fund to enter into a contract with Strand & Associates Inc., Columbus, to finish the design and engineering of the proposed Downtown Recreation Area. 2025-077, first reading, appropriating $1.5 million from the general fund to enter into a contract with Rosales & Partners, Boston, Massachusetts, for the design and engineering of a pedestrian bridge for the Downtown Recreation Area. 2025-078, first reading, appropriating a $1,137 insurance payment for the repair of a police vehicle, and declaring an emergency.
