Christmas in July

FINDLAY — Christmas in July will encourage the community to "Shop Local & Give Big." The campaign asks people to shop at small businesses throughout Findlay and the surrounding areas, purchase a gift or product, and donate it as a silent auction item for the Festival of Trees event that will be held Nov. 15 at the Hancock Hotel. Every purchase does double the good by supporting a local small business and also contributing to Cancer Patient Services of Hancock County by becoming part of the November fundraiser. The process is easy. Choose a small business. It could be a boutique, coffee shop, salon, bakery, makers and more. Buy a gift or an item. Pick something you'd love to see in the Festival of Trees silent auction whether its home décor, gift cards, spa baskets or custom goods. Then donate your purchase by July 31. Items can be dopped off at Revive Salon and Day Spa, 1101 W. Main Cross St. The item will be included in the silent auction packages at this year's gala. With your permission, your name or business will be featured as a donor on social media and at the event.
