New doctor joins BVHS staff

FINDLAY — Blanchard Valley Health System has welcomed Inyang Jr. Udo-Inyang, MD, a physician specializing in spine care, to the Neurosurgical Associates of Northwest Ohio, located at Wellness Park in Findlay. Inyang received his doctor of medicine from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College and a bachelor of arts in biochemistry from Oberlin College. Additionally, he has received his orthopedic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic, where he was awarded the Cleveland Clinic Orthopedic Surgery AOA Leadership Award. He then completed a spinal surgery fellowship at the Norton Leadership Spine Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Inyang has treated degenerative cervical, thoracic and lumbar conditions, a release from BVHS states. He also has extensive experience in treating traumatic, oncologic and complex deformities of the spine, utilizing minimally invasive techniques and new technology. He belongs to several professional organizations, including the North American Spine Society, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has also conducted and published research on orthopedic scoliosis, adjacent segment disease, spine radiosurgery and other topics related to orthopedic and spinal surgery.
