Self Superlative In my childhood, I read English grammar— One part that always sounded good, A feature of adjectives—invisible armor! The Degree of Comparison, Split into three wise parts: Positive, Comparative, and Superlative— Taught me to live with grace and heart. It works from both angles in life— To reach the peak, be it good or bad. But I choose to walk the brighter side, Grateful for all that I've ever had. Though all three stand side by side: Positive—me, just as I am, Comparative—me versus another, Superlative—a self-made exam. Why compare with someone else? Each soul is unique in their own way. I'm a simple human being by nature, Loving to live each lively day! When I'm calm, I feel okay. Calmer than someone? Maybe… but why? The calmest? That's my own test— To rise, to work, to aim, to try. I strive each day, give up my rest, I hold myself to my own quest. And though I wish all to be their best, Still, I can claim I am the best. This idea keeps me down to earth, Reminds me only of my own self-worth, Prevents me from carrying arrogance, While constantly filling me with confidence! Neetu Kumari Singh Findlay
