Wapakoneta has become the big dog in the Western Buckeye League, winning three straight league titles. The Redskins were 9-0 in league games last season, including a 42-14 win over O-G. After going 1-9 in 2022 and 2-8 in 2023, O-G rebounded with a 6-6 record in 2024. Despite losing a solid senior class (20) and most of its all-league recipients, O-G's numbers were good enough to play almost a full junior varsity schedule as well and some freshman games. This Week four matchup with a strong Wapakoneta program will go a long way in judging the Titans continued progress.INTERESTING FACT: Being the little guy in a bigger-school league can have its advantages, especially when it comes to the payoffs. In 2009, Ottawa-Glandorf was 8-2 and seeded fifth in its region for the playoffs. The Titans knocked off No. 3 Orrville (21-20) and No. 4 Wooster Triway (28-14) in reaching the Division V state semifinals.
