Findlay senior delivers powerful message

FINDLAY — During Findlay City School's (FCS) 2025 Convocation on Wednesday, senior Rayanna Cap delivered a speech on the impact the district has had on her life. Teachers and staff were moved by her words, describing the way that teachers, bus drivers, nurses and everyone who makes up the district, had on her FCS career. In a Facebook post by FCS provided some of Cap's powerful words: "Findlay City Schools is where I learned, where I grew, and where I became someone who believes in herself—because others did first." "The thing is, being believed in? It changes everything. And every adult in this district…whether they know it or not, makes that kind of impact every single day." And an important reminder for all of our staff members: "You might not always see it. You might not always feel it. But we do. We see the effort. We see the kindness. We feel the belief you have in us, even when we're struggling to believe in ourselves. To you, it might feel small. But to us, it means everything."
