OTTAWA HILLS 4VAN BUREN 2VAN BUREN – Ottawa Hills rebounded from an opening 1-0 loss to Liberty-Benton with a 4-2 win over Van Buren on Monday. The match was the season opener for Van Buren. U. SANDUSKY 3 NORWALK 2 UPPER SANDUSKY – Cooper Roof's goal with 2:11 left in regulation proved to be the game winner as Upper Sandusky moved to 2-0 by edging Norwalk, 3-2. Caleb Arter recorded a goal and an assist for the Rams, and Josh Walton also found the back of the net. Kobe Beidelschies had an assist for Upper Sandusky. Troy Hoffbauer made nine saves in goal for the Rams. GIRLS SOCCERADA 6CRESTVIEW 0CONVOY – Alex Gibson scored two goals and added an assist and Avary Acheson had a goal and there assists in Ada's 6-0 girls soccer win over Convoy Crestview.Kenley Poling, Maycie Dewese and Aubry Jordan also scored for Ada, which is off to a 2-0 start this season. NORWALK 3 U. SANDUSKY 2 UPPER SANDUSKY – Claire Spettle scored a pair of goals, and Norwalk held on for a 3-2 win at Upper Sandusky Monday. Spettle's second goal – coming with 15:02 left in regulation, broke a 1-1 tie. With 7:09 remaining, the Truckers' CJ Bennett found the back of the net to make it 3-1.
