Findlay tennis edged by Generals

FINDLAY – Findlay's girls tennis team won both doubles matches Thursday against Sylvania Southview Thursday, but dropped all three singles matches and fell to the Cougars, 3-2. Due to weather, the match was moved indoors at the YMCA. The Trojans dropped to 3-6 overall and two 1-4 in the NLL. The Trojans first doubles team of Audrey Schroeder and Willow Wetzel notched a 6-3, 7-5 win in their match, and FHS' second doubles team of Reese Hagedorn and Maggie Bramel scored a 6-3, 6-4 win over its Southview counterpart. The Trojans will travel to Clay Tuesday. VOLLEYBALL ANTHONY WAYNE 3 FINDLAY 0 WHITEHOUSE – Davinee Harris recorded 10 kills and Delaney Harris added seven assists, but Findlay fell at Anthony Wayne 25-10, 25-12, 25-17. Delong makes an ace Sondra Delong had a hole-in-one on the 86-yard eighth hole at Birch Run Thursday. She used a pitching wedge on the par 3 hole, and Randy Ebling, Cindy Ebling, Marilyn Noble and Mia Martin witnessed the shot.
