FINDLAY — Reineke Family Dealerships will host its annual Reineke Car Show on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its 12000 County Rd 99 location in Findlay. More than just a display of vintage and modern cars, the event brings the community together to support two local nonprofits: The Joseph Wolph Foundation for Music Education and Findlay Hope House for the Homeless. "Every dollar raised on Saturday, whether folks make a donation for food, register for the event, or buy a t-shirt, raffle tickets or 50/50 drawings, everything raised that day goes towards both organizations," Marketing Manager Greg Dell said. "The Reineke Family Dealerships pays for the car show and everything that happens that day, so every dollar raised goes right back to both organizations." The Joseph Wolph Foundation was created in memory of Wolph, a longtime Reineke employee who passed away in 2020 at 38 years old. Established by his family, the foundation honors his passion for music, helping local schools purchase quality instruments for students. "For the past couple of years, we've partnered with the Joseph Wolf Foundation for Music Education to have this car show," Dell said. "Joseph was a longtime employee of the dealership and we do this car show as a tribute to him as well." A special "Mustang Stable" will be featured at the event in honor of Wolph's favorite car. This year's show also supports Hope House. Founded in 1990, the nonprofit provides shelter and housing for women, children and families in Hancock County experiencing homelessness. The organization now serves more than 5,000 people annually and acts as the "front door" for rental housing assistance in the county. "We have some team members in the dealership that are on the Hope House board and support the organization," Dell said. "We're very lucky that there's a lot of good organizations in and around Findlay to support, it's hard to choose just one." The Reineke lot will be cleared to make room for the rows of vehicles coming in on Saturday, with space for groups and car clubs. Dell said an average of 80 to 130 vehicles roll into the show each year. Multiple trophies will be awarded throughout the day, with winners selected by judges representing supported organization and community partners. "We're very fortunate to have the big lot that we have," Dell said. "We're expecting a good crowd this year." The show is open to all makes, models and years — including motorcycles. Registration is $10 per vehicle and can be paid on the day of the event. First 50 vehicles to pre-register will receive a free t-shirt.
