Whitmer sweeps past Trojans

FINDLAY --Delaney Harris registered 13 assists, 11 digs and three aces, but Findlay came up short against Whitmer Thursday, falling 25-19, 25-16, 25-19. Davinee Harris slammed 10 kills for the Trojans, while Addy Rood lined five. Findlay's Stephanie Ragan came up with 11 digs, while Anika Helms recorded eight. FHS' Maggie Crates dished out seven assists. The Trojans will host Marysville Saturday. The Vikings secured their victory 25-15, 25-11, 25-13. Karmyn Brough also registered five aces and five digs, for the Vikings. Kya Brandt ended with six kills, four aces, and seven digs. Danaysia Danzy had 17 kills, and Jaelynn Siefer had 13 digs. Morgan Valdez added five kills and two blocks. The Vikings will host Riverdale Monday at 5:30 p.m.. BLUFFTON 3ELMWOOD 0BLOOMDALE– Bluffton used a dominant second set to shut out Elmwood 3-0 on the road Thursday, winning 25-21, 25-4, 25-19.Camryn Fruchey stuffed the stat sheet for the Pirates, finishing with six aces, seven kills, 15 assists, 10 digs, and two blocks. Kendall Stackhouse ended with 11 kills and three aces. Karlie Lora recorded six kills and four blocks. Adelyn Althaus dished out 16 assists, and Libby Hocanson added seven kills.
