Celebrating a successful 4-H year of growth, Achievement, and community spirit

As the 2025 4-H year draws to a close, Hancock County 4-H members, families, and volunteers have much to be proud of. The year began with a strong start in March, as we celebrated Ohio and Hancock County 4-H Week—an opportunity to spotlight the values and impact of 4-H across our community. April brought record-breaking success with our Little Caesars Pizza Kit fundraiser, thanks to the enthusiastic support of our members and local families. Summer ushered in the excitement of camp season. Cloverbuds enjoyed a fun-filled Day Camp hosted by the OSU Extension Office, while older members made lifelong memories at 4-H Camp Ohio in St. Louisville. July was a month of focus and determination, with club meetings, demonstrations, and project judging. Hancock County was proudly represented by 91 members at the Ohio State Fair, showcasing their talents and dedication on a statewide stage. The Hancock County Fair was a true highlight, where members exhibited livestock, shared creative projects, and engaged with the community. It was a celebration of hard work, learning, and leadership. As we look ahead, recognition banquets are just around the corner—an opportunity to honor the outstanding achievements of our youth and the unwavering support of our volunteers. These events mark the culmination of a year filled with growth, service, and success. But the journey doesn't end here. Planning is already underway for 2026, which officially begins on November 1. Whether you're a returning member or new to the program, we invite you to be part of something truly special. 4-H offers opportunities to build leadership, responsibility, and lifelong friendships through hands-on learning and community involvement.
