Bluffton picks up NWC victory over LCC

VOLLEYBALLBLUFFTON 3LIMA CC 1LIMA– Bluffton won a hard-fought four-set match over Northwest Conference opponent Lima Central Catholic on Thursday evening, 26-24, 22-25, 25-19, 25-16Kendall Stackhouse paced the Pirates with 17 kills and three aces. Karlie Lora finished with 16 kills and six blocks. Camryn Fruchey had 29 assists, 10 digs, and three blocks. Vanessa Cross ended with 26 digs and three aces. Gracie Warren recorded 15 digs and two aces. Adelyn Althaus had 18 assists, and Libby Hocanson added six kills.Bluffton, now standing at 11-4 and 3-0 in the NWC, hosts the Carey Blue Devils at noon on Saturday. H. NORTHERN 3LIMA PERRY 0DOLA– Hardin Northern decimated NWCC foe Lima Perry on Thursday evening at home. The Polar Bears held the Commodores under 10 points in all three sets, winning 25-5, 25-5, 25-9. Lexi Oakley finished with six aces and four kills. Addy Bacon ended with 12 kills. Stella Morrison had five kills, and Kendall Frank added 22 assists. The Polar Bears travel to Arcadia at 10 a.m. on Saturday. B. CENTRAL 3CAREY 0NEW WASHINGTON– Buckeye Central won all three sets over Carey at home Thursday, winning 25-13, 25-15, 25-11.Abbi Seager led the Blue Devils, posting six kills, two aces, and five blocks. Rylie Stoops finished with six kills and 14 digs. Emily Brodman had four kills and eight digs. McKinley Kessler added 16 assists and five digs. Carey travels to Bluffton on Saturday, taking on the Pirates at 10 a.m. KALIDA 3ARLINGTON 0ARLINGTON– Kalida beat Arlington in three sets on the road Thursday, winning 25-22, 25-15, 25-15.Ellie Marquart recorded 25 assists and 19 digs for the Red Devils. Callie Hartman finished with eight kills. Maddie Hartman ended with eight digs.The Red Devils host Arcadia on Tuesday at 4:30. P. HENRY 3ELMWOOD 0HAMLER– Patrick Henry defeated Elmwood in just three sets on Thursday, winning 25-8, 25-15, 25-13. Meyta Hieber led the Patriots with 10 kills, three aces, and nine digs. Ada Christman had six kills and six blocks. Carys Crossland ended with four kills, four blocks, and three digs, while Kynli Crossland added four kills, three aces, and 11 digs. Elmwood will host Lakota at noon on Saturday. OLD FORT 3H-LOUDON 0OLD FORT– Old Fort defeated SBC-River opponent Hopewell-Loudon in three sets on Thursday, winning 25-15, 25-11, 25-18 at home. Araceli Velasquez led the Chieftains seven kills, nine digs, and four blocks. Savanna Cook had five kills, two aces, seven assists, and eight digs. Maddie Holcomb added 17 digs. Hopewell-Loudon hosts Upper Sandusky at 7 on Tuesday.
