Bluffton U enters agreement with OhioGuidestone

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University has entered into an agreement with OhioGuidestone as part of the university's network of Corporate and Education partnerships. The nonprofit, located in Berea, Ohio, offers comprehensive behavioral health and substance use services across the state, serving over 26,000 individuals annually. The organization focuses on person-centered care, providing mental health counseling, addiction recovery, family support and workforce development services. "We are excited about this new partnership with OhioGuidestone," Alex Sider, president of Bluffton University, said in a release. "Bluffton's commitment to academic excellence, community, and preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing world remains strong, and I am excited to work alongside our dedicated faculty, staff, and students as we continue to build upon this solid foundation." Bluffton's Corporate and Education Partner programs provide benefit-eligible employees and their immediate families a 20% tuition discount on graduate programs and a $1,000 grant to existing aid for undergraduate programs. The discount is applied to both online and on-campus programs. Other corporate partners include Auto Owners Insurance, Northwest State Community College, North Star BlueScope Steel LLC., Lima Memorial Health System, Lewis Family McDonald's; while Education Partners include: Ada Exempted Village Schools, Benjamin Logan Local Schools, Elida Local Schools and Kenton City Schools.
