North Baltimore cruises past Perry to remain unbeaten

BALTIMORE 54LIMA PERRY 6 NORTH BALTIMORE — North Baltimore continued to cruise, easily winning another league game to move to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the NWCC.Luke Long passed for 222 yards and rushed for 101 yards in the home win, while Brody Walter churned out 141 yards on the ground.Cooper Clark had 112 receiving yards for the Tigers, while Zander South had 84 yards through the air.Perry fell to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the league. W-GOSHEN 14CORY-RAWSON 6RAWSON — The Hornets pushed Waynesfield-Goshen until the end, but Bentley Barnes' fourth-quarter touchdown was the difference.Zane Runion-Niese scored on a 21-yard interception return for Cory-Rawson.The Tigers improved to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the NWCC, while the Hornets fell to 0-6. NORTHERN 0DOLA — Hardin Northern's Homecoming saw strong defense but Polar Bears struggled on offense in a 14-0 Northwest Central Conference loss to Ridgedale.Kyler Sedlock was 5-of-5 passing for 45 yards for the Polar Bears, who fell to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in the NWCC. Sawyer Crossman led the way with 27 receiving yards, while Weston Kindle rushed for 23 yards.Ridgedale improved to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the league. LAKE 35FOSTORIA 23 FOSTORIA — The Redmen carried a 17-14 lead into the locker room but Lake outscored the home team 21-6 in the second half.The Flyers improved to 2-4 overall and 2-2 in the Northern Buckeye.Fostoria fell to 0-6. MARYS 17O-GLANDORF 3OTTAWA — The Ottawa-Glandorf defense held its own, but could only manage a field goal in a home WBL loss.Tyler Ruhe's 34-yard field goal put the Titans (0-6, 0-5) up in the first quarter, but Caleb Schmidt's touchdown run put the Roughriders ahead in the second. Schmidt, the leading rusher in the Western Buckeye League, finished with 210 rushing yards for St. Marys, who improved to 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the league.Tanner Vogt was 13-of-23 yards passing for 160 yards for the Titans, with Deegan Miller hauling in seven receptions for 73 yards. SANDUSKY 14UPPER SANDUSKY — Nicholas Parks accounted for four touchdowns as Seneca East ran past the Rams.Josh Heilman caught two touchdown passes for Upper Sandusky (2-4 overall, 1-2 N10), one being a 67-yard toss from Ethan Lewis. GROVE 44ALLEN EAST 7 HARROD — Landon Best threw for five touchdowns and Trevon Baxter caught three as Columbus Grove stayed unbeaten in league play.Best was 15-of-23 passing for 229 yards for the Bulldogs, who improved to 3-3 overall and 3-0 in the Northwest.Baxter had seven receptions for 130 yards and the three scores, while Gavin Baxter and Gavin Barraza each had scoring receptions. HENRY 6 HAMLER — It was a battle of unbeatens in NWOAL action, and Liberty Center scored the impressive road win.The Tigers, the No. 1-ranked Division V team in the state, moved to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the league while Patrick Henry fell to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the NWOAL.Kiefer Holloway caught nine passes for 99 yards for the Patriots, while Grant Schwab hauled in six passes for 50 yards, and Mitch Prigge had four receptions for 44 yards.Tristen Rosebrook was 25-of-37 for 228 yards and a pair of interceptions.Cal Schroeder scored the Patriots' only touchdown with a third-quarter rush.Garrison Kruse had three touchdowns for Liberty Center.
