Bullying not sportsmanlike As a spectator, I was appalled by Findlay's student population. On several occasions, they chanted "BS" at the referees. Mind you, there were several administrators at this homecoming game.I sat through the worst possible demonstration of target bullying I have ever seen! Clay's QB, former Findlay QB, went to school with those "friends" who harassed him, by name, throughout the game. The social media abuse he and his family were exposed to the entire week prior to the game was just plain hateful.This young man spent 15 years going to school, church and proudly representing Findlay. His parents chose to move their family, and because of that, he was persecuted Friday night. What an awful way to learn who your "friends" aren't!As a parent, imagine the impact this treatment would have on your child. As a school administrator, if this target bullying is not addressed, you're sending a message to your students that target bullying is acceptable behavior. And the negative publicity to the district is so detrimental! There is no way I would ever vote for a school levy again. Jill Pixley Findlay
