Davidson shuts out Trojans

BOYS SOCCER DAVIDSON 9FINDLAY 0FINDLAY – Teo Jacobs, Oscar Romero and Liam Swain scored two goals each in powering Hilliard Davidson to a 9-0 win over Findlay in Saturday's boys soccer matchup at Elmer Graham Stadium.Diego Pacheco, Ethan Yousey and Seif Shabaan also found the net for the Wildcats, 7-4-2.David Roberts and Jacob Kinn spent time in goal for Findlay, with Roberts making 13 saves and Kinn four.Defensively, Zion Ortiz and Tyler Worthington led Findlay with 12 intercepts each. Worthington also had six steals and Ortiz had five for the Trojans (2-11-1), who will host Sylvania Southview on Thursday in a Northern Lakes League match. L-BENTON 8LAKE 0MILBURY – Liberty-Benton's Aiden Hatch scored three times and set the school record for career goals in the process in leading the Eagles to an 8-0 win over Lake.Jario Colina scored two goals and added an assist and Brody Thomas had a goal and an assist. Chase Troyer and Toby Brown also found the net for the Eagles, who ran their unbeaten streak to 11 games (9-0-2). L-B wraps up regular season play on Tuesday when the Eagles host Ottawa-Glandorf. JENNINGS 2FORT JENNINGS – Upper Sandusky's Shiloh Shasteen had a goal and an assist and achieved a career milestone on Saturday in the Rams' 3-2 soccer win over Fort Jennings.Shasteen's goal and assist gave the Upper Sandusky junior 102 career points. That is the sixth highest total in Upper Sandusky girls soccer history.Erica Ruhlen scored two goals, including the game-winner with 28:22 left in the match. Carly Bose made three saves in goal for the Rams (6-8-10).
