GIRLS SOCCER FINDLAY 4LEXINGTON 4LEXINGTON –Olivia Gayhart scored two goals and Yasmin Teixeira had two assists on Monday when Findlay High's girls soccer team battled Lexington to a 4-4 draw.Greta Zaciewski and Elynn Hawkins also found the net for Findlay, which led 3-2 at the half. Emmersyn Patey and Elleson Rader had assists and Addie Sprang made 19 saves in goal.Findlay (5-6-3) is at Toledo Notre Dame on Wednesday, then wraps up the regular season with home matches against Ashland on Saturday and Oregon Clay on Oct. 15. VAN BUREN 3ROSSFORD 2VAN BUREN – Kami Bowman's goal off a Kayla Bowman assist with 30 seconds left in the match capped a furious comeback that earned Van Buren a 3-2 girls soccer win over Rossford.Rossford led 2-0 16 minutes into the match. Kami Bowman scored an unassisted goal 15:25 into the second half, though, and Ella Grieger converted a pass from Sophia Webster to tie the match seven minutes later.Brookanne Busch made three saves to get the win in goal for Van Buren. Busch's three saves also gave her a school single-season record 111 saves for the season.Van Buren won its fourth straight match and is 9-6-0 heading into Thursday home game with Evergreen. The Black Knights will then host Riverdale on Oct. 14 in the OHSAA playoffs. COL. CHRISTIAN 0TOLEDO – Van Buren's boys soccer team notched a second straight win on Monday when the Black Knights blanked Toledo Christian 3-0.Van Buren climbed to 8-6-2 with its third win in its last four games. Toledo Christian dropped to 9-5-2. ADA 5LCC 1ADA – Carson Conley and Andrew Allen both scored two goals and added an assist each in Ada's 5-1 soccer win over Lima Central Catholic.Lucas Henson also scored a goal and Jacob Rush made three saves for Ada (10-4-2).
