Southview blanks Trojans, 6-0

BOYS SOCCER SOUTHVIEW 6 FINDLAY 0 SYLVANIA – Dylan Walerius and Zade Naim each found the back of the net twice, and Sylvania Southview shut out Findlay, 6-0 on Thursday. Landon Jones and Isaiah Flagg each scored once for the Cougars, who improved to 13-2-1. Findlay's David Roberts made seven saves in goal for Findlay, which dropped to 2-12-1. Defensively, the Trojans' Charlie Ernst made 10 intercepts and eight steals, while Tyler Worthington made 14 intercepts and seven steals. BLUFFTON 1KALIDA 0BLUFFTON– Bluffton notched a 1-0 victory over Kalida on Thursday evening on the road.Brahlen August scored unassisted for the Pirates' only score. The Pirates wrap up the season with a 5-9-3 record. VAN BUREN 2FT. JENNINGS 2FORT JENNINGS– Van Buren and Fort Jennings played to a 2-2 tie on Thursday.The Black Knights moved to 8-6-3 following the tie. GIRLS SOCCERVAN BUREN 4EVERGREEN 2VAN BUREN– Van Buren scored three second-half goals in a 4-2 victory over Evergreen in a girls soccer matchup on Thursday.Kami Bowman finished with two goals and an assist for the Black Knights. Kaylaa Bowman notched VB's other two scores. Sophia Webster added an assist. Brookanne Busch recorded six saves in goal.Addyson Gleckler scored both Evergreen goals unassisted. The Black Knights end the regular season with a 10-6 record, and will host the Riverdale Falcons on Tuesday to open the postseason. O-GLANDORF 4BLUFFTON 0OTTAWA– Ottawa-Glandorf shut out Bluffton 4-0 on Thursday evening, thanks to two goals from Delaney Duling.Karsyn Erford and Emma Heringhaus each scored as well for the Titans. Bluffton goalie Kynzie Ewing finished with five saves.The Titans wrap up the regular season 12-5, while Bluffton ends the season with a final record of 8-8-1. COL. GROVE 3KALIDA 0KALIDA– Columbus Grove clinched a 3-0 victory over Kalida in a girls soccer matchup on Thursday. Allison Thompson, Devante Pingle, and Ruth Myers each scored a goal for the Bulldogs. Erianne Heffner finished with four saves. Columbus Grove's regular season record ends at 12-2-2, and the Bulldogs look ahead to a postseason meeting with Lima Central Catholic on Tuesday at 5 p.m. WAPAKONETA 3 RIVERDALE 1 WAPAKONETA -- Wapakoneta outshot Riverdale 25-9, and topped the Falcons 3-1 Thursday. Marissa Bonham converted an assist from Bristel Cramner to score Riverdale's lone goal. Ryleigh Howard made seven saves in goal for the Falcons.
