Physician added to BVHS staff

FINDLAY — Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) has welcomed Dr. Bradley Jerew to EasternWoods Family Practice. A board-certified family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine physician, Jerew brings experience providing primary care to all ages. Prior to pursuing medicine, he started his career as a band and music teacher at Liberty Center Local Schools. Jerew later decided to pursue medicine, earning his Master of Science in medical physiology from Case Western Reserve University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dublin, Ohio. He completed his family medicine residency at Mercy Health St. Luke's in Perrysburg, Ohio, gaining practical clinical experience and groundwork needed for his future success as a primary care physician. Additionally, Jerew practiced primary care at MedHelp Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama. As a family medicine doctor, he brings experience in preventative care, wellness exams, managing acute and chronic conditions, and coordinating specialized treatments. "I am very excited to join the BVHS team and its mission of providing collaborative, compassionate, and comprehensive care to residents of Greater Findlay and surrounding areas of Northwest Ohio. BVHS is a wonderful healthcare system with a strong focus on giving back to the community it serves, which is very important to me," Jerew said in a release. "As an educator, my passion is helping my patients learn about how to maintain and improve their health in approachable ways that are sustainable throughout their lifetime." He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the God Humanism Honor Society. Outside of his career, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and competing at tractor pulls.
