P-GILBOA 3 MCCOMB 0 PANDORA – Corrin Luginbill mashed 23 kills in leading Pandora-Gilboa to a 25-21, 25-17, 25-17 win over McComb in a Division VII sectional final volleyball match on Wednesday. Nevaeha Alvarado added six kills, Claire Osting had four and Kelsie Carlson (7 digs, 2 aces) added three. Cora Hovest had 31 assists and Ava Huffman had 18 digs for No. 2-seeded P-G, which will face sixth-seeded Waynesfield-Goshen Monday at 6 p.m. in a district semifinal contest at Bluffton University. Morgan Kern (12 digs, 3 aces) and Addisen Krassow (5 digs) led McComb with 10 kills each. Journey Scheff (3 blocks, 3 digs) and Claire Bryan (13 assists, 9 digs) added three kills each, while Alyvia Shaheen had a team-leading 15 digs. LEIPSIC 3 LIMA TEMPLE 0 LEIPSIC – Kya Brandt pounded 11 kills and served up seven aces as No. 2-ranked and No. 1-seeded Leipsic rolled to a 25-15, 25-9, 25-14 win over Lima Temple Christian in a Division VII sectional volleyball final on Wednesday. Morgan Valdez had eight kills and Sydney Apple added seven. Karmyn Brough led Leipsic with 29 assists. Jaelynn Siefer had 17 digs and three aces for the 22-1 Vikings, who will face New Knoxville Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the second of two district semifinal matchups at Bluffton University. Pandora-Gilboa and Waynesfield-Goshen will square off in the first game, with the winners meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. for the district title and a bid to the regional tournament. ARLINGTON 3 N. BALTIMORE 0 ARLINGTON – Paige Clevenger recorded eight kills and Ellie Marquart had 28 assists and four ace serves in Arlington's 25-18, 25-13, 25-10 sectional final win over North Baltimore. Mea Alexander and Mireya Velazquez both had 11 digs for the Red Devils (11-12), who will face Hardin Northern Monday at 6 p.m. in one of two district semifinal matches at Findlay High. ARCADIA 3 RIDGEMONT 1 NEW RIEGEL – Arcadia and Ridgemont split a pair of close sets right off the bat, but the Redskins rolled after that in beating the Gophers 26-24, 23-25, 25-22, 25-16 in a Division VII sectional volleyball final. Ryleigh Bostic had 17 kills and 25 digs for Arcadia. Kate Seem had 10 kills and Ellie Moes added nine. Lexi Theis (2 aces) had 26 digs, Ivy Smith (33 assists, 4 aces) had 16 and Elyse Boes (3 kills, 6 assists) had 12 as Arcadia (11-12) advanced to Monday's 7:30 p.m. district semifinal at Findlay High. H. NORTHERN 3 VANLUE 0 ARLINGTON – Hardin Northern dominated two sets and held on in another in beating Vanlue 25-16, 25-23, 25-11 in a Division VII sectional volleyball match at Arlington. Addy Bacon led Hardin Northern with 12 kills, Baylie Bacon had 10 and Morgan Stewart eight. Kendall Thomas had five aces and led the Polar Bears with 23 assists. Lainey Thomas had 12 digs, Baylie Bacon 10, Alexis Oakley eight and Vivian Overs seven. Candace Saltzman led Vanlue with five kills and Madison Brooks (3 blocks) and Riley Holbrook added three kills each. Adrienne Phillips led the Wildcats (3-20) with 11 assists. MOHAWK 3 H-LOUDON 1 SYCAMORE – State-ranked Mohawk dominated start to finish in posting a 25-1, 25-15, 25-8 win over Hopewell-Loudon in a Division VII sectional volleyball match. Araceli Velasquez (9 digs) and Savanna Cook (7 digs, 4 assists) led Hopewell-Loudon with five kills each. Maddie Holcomb and Alexis Fedele (7 assists) both had six digs.
