Grove gets back to business, hosts Golden Bears | The Courier Columbus Grove comes into Friday's playoff matchup with Gibsonburg with a 7-3 record, good enough for a first-round bye. A tough non-conference schedule saw Columbus Grove begin the season a shocking 0-3, but coach Andy Schafer and the Bulldogs were quick to correct course. Grove proceeded to win seven straight games, clinching the Northwest Conference for a third consecutive season.
