Letter to the editor

About celebration I want to remark on Diann Brown's LTE published Nov.13. My thoughts are no matter what you do or who you try to honor or what cause you want raise awareness of, you have someone taking issue. I am a white male born of a typical (natural) both parents Caucasian so as average as it gets. Now there are many family's with single parents, mixed race parents, mixed religion and gay couples. The list goes on. So, there has been so much awareness about all this that the typical "natural" families get forgotten. At least the perception by someone, which is probably what the drafting of the bill came from. It's kind of like the "Black Lives Matter" signs going around. Now it's "Veterans Lives Matter" and maybe "White Lives Matter." Well, to God "All Lives Matter," so let's not read into any new awareness issue and take offense. I won't waste my time writing to any congressmen about this. Yes, I think it's silly, but I don't take offense to it. Just live and let live and take the chip off our shoulders. Robert Poe Findlay
