Christmas crafts this week at the library

The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library is offering the following programs the week of December 1-6, 2025: Buckle up for a wild ride and join the library as we sit down for an online chat with debut author Sue Hincenbergs to discuss her novel The Retirement Plan, in which murder is the name of the game. When the only thing standing between three best friends and a sunny beachfront retirement condo are their husbands, what ensues is a diabolical plan to collect on their spouses' life insurance policies. This program is presented in partnership with the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. Come and craft with the library on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Lindamood room. This month we'll be making an adorable Folded Book Christmas Tree. This program is designed for adults and teens over 16. Bring your own work-in-progress or start fresh with one of our prompts. Meet at Coffee Amici in downtown Findlay on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The 50 North Book Discussion will take a look at Kristin Hannah's Comfort & Joy this month on Thursday, November 6 at 10 a.m. at 50 North, 339 E. Melrose Avenue. Join in for art, science, and engineering projects in our Makerspace. This month, learn how to do felting with cookie cutters. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult. Makerspace for Homeschoolers is at 2 p.m., and Makerspace is at 6 p.m., with both taking place in the Lindamood Room.
