Uhrig joins endocrinology experts

FINDLAY — Dr. Jarrod Uhrig has joined the BVHS team of endocrinology and diabetes specialists. He is a board-certified diabetologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and management of diabetes and has seven years of specialized treatment of diabetes. Dr. Uhrig received a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry and premedicine from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH before studying Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH. He completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital. He completed a fellowship at the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine and Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Before coming to Findlay, Dr. Uhrig worked at the Family and Community Medicine Diabetes Clinic and the Department of Endocrinology at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA.
