The Blue Devils had outscored the Falcons 13-9 in the third, and had cut their deficit to just five, 32-27. But Riverdale controlled the fourth, outscoring Carey 17-11 and winning the non-conference contest, 49-38. Grady Haley scored 18 points to lead the Falcons, while Hayden Scott added 15.
