WinterREAD and more this week at the library

Start the year off right with the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library's selection of programs. For the week of January 4-10, 2026, the library is offering the following programs: WinterREAD, a reading challenge that gives participants a chance to win fantastic prizes, begins January 5. Register beginning the 5th at findlaylibrary.readsquared.com to join in all the fun. Registration is open to all ages, with prizes for each category. For more information and to see the prizes, visit findlaylibrary.org. Mini Meet-Up is scheduled for Wednesday and Friday at 9 am. Meet new friends and play in our Early Learning Center in the children's department. This program is designed for young children and their families. Creative writers - if you're tired of writing alone, come write with other adults! Bring your own work-in-progress or start fresh with one of our prompts. We meet at Coffee Amici in downtown Findlay on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The 50 North Book Discussion will take a look at Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club this month on Thursday, January 8 at 10 a.m. at 50 North, 339 E.
