Findlay boys, girls swim teams top Oak Harbor

SWIMMING FINDLAY – Oak Harbor swimmers placed first in 14 of the 24 events, but Findlay High's depth led to the second- and third-place points that helped the Trojans beat the Rockets 104-76 in the boys meet and 95-84 in the girls competition in a meet held at the University of Findlay's Sink Natatorium on Tuesday,Tillie Abbott was a triple winner in the girls meet, finishing first in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.77) and 100 butterfly (1:04.15). She also teamed with Norah Dolan, Ava Blide and Emmalyn Cislo on the first place 200 free relay (1:51.53).Dolan added an individual first in the 100 free (58.46).Jake Best (23.26) and Stephan Mahler (23.39) gave Findlay a down-to-the-wire 1-2 finish in the boys 50 free. Both were also on the winning 200 free relay team with Nick Kasiborski and Jax Dean (1:36.23).Best was second in the 100 free (50.20), while Maddox Debelak won the 200 IM (2:12.21) and was second in the free (5:35.99).With Oak Harbor having no divers, Findlay also swept those events, with Dominic Smith (236.95) and Lizzy Smith (172.05) posting the top scores.
