P-G players reach milestones in win over Hornets

P-GILBOA 66CORY-RAWSON 41RAWSON – It was a milestone kind of night for Pandora-Gilboa's girls basketball team on Tuesday, and Savannah Knueven and Ava Huffman both played big roles during the Rockets 66-41 victory at Cory-Rawson.Knueven, a 5-foot-10 senior guard, tied the school record for 3-pointers in a game – making 8 of her 9 attempts – and scored a career-high 34 points.Huffman, a 5-5 senior guard, scored 17 points and surpassed the 1,000-point career milestone during the game.Kelsie Carlson added 11 points and nine assists for the Rockets (8-7), who outscored Cory-Rawson 35-14 over the second and third quarters.
