Fort Findlay Playhouse presents 'Steel Magnolias'

The Fort Findlay Playhouse presents the funniest show ever to make you cry, "Steel Magnolias", running February 12-15 & 20-22. From the playhouse synopsis: Set in a lively beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, Steel Magnolias follows a group of outspoken Southern women as they share laughs, advice, and deep bonds through life's ups and downs. As they navigate love, loss, and friendship, especially when young Shelby's health takes a tragic turn, their wit and resilience reveal the strength behind their sharp humor and softer hearts. The show was was written by Robert Harling and is being produced in association with Dramatists Play Service, Inc. It is directed by Timothy Frost with George Rustemeyer as producer and Stephanie Kreh as assistant director. Show times are 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets cost $20 and are available online anytime starting Feb. 2 at fortfindlayplayhouse.org, via phone at 567-525-3636 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2 and in person at 300 W. Sandusky St. on Feb. 2 2 from noon to 3 p.m. There are no additional fees charged when paying with a credit card.
