World Goods Et Cetera hosts photography exhibit BLUFFFTON — World Goods Et Cetera — formerly Ten Thousand Villages, a non-profit retail store in Bluffton — will host an exhibit of photographs by Carole Elchert, an artist who has traveled to Nepal for decades, in March. The public is also invited to meet Elchert, of Findlay, and discuss her travel experiences and photographic work at 2 p.m. Saturday at the shop, located at 115 S. Main St. There is no charge for this presentation. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in communication and sociology from Bowling Green State University, Elchert earned a Master's in interpersonal and public communication. In 1981, she traveled for the first time to Nepal and the Himalayas. Elchert returned to the Himalayan regions — including India, Nepal, Ladakh and Tibet — every year or two for ongoing study of these cultures. Since 1993, she has organized and led 17 eco-cultural tours for adults as well as cross-cultural experiences for Bluffton University students. An outgrowth of her travels to Europe and Asia is her professional work as an editor, writer, speaker, lecturer and photographer. Her work will be on exhibit at World Goods Et Cetera through March 28. March Fresh Brewed Business slated FINDLAY — The Findlay∙Hancock County Chamber of Commerce will host Fresh Brewed Business from 8-9 a.m., March 3, at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. Kellie Bibler with Golden Pear Voice & Image will present new Chamber members; John Reineke with Midwest Financial Services will share a market update; Chamber Agri-Business Committee Chair Kari Colman with Hitchings Insurance will give a committee update; Alissa Preston with the Convention & Visitors Bureau will present on Downtown Findlay momentum; City of Findlay's Mayor Muryn will serve as the main speaker; Findlay Police Chief James Mathias will give a police department update; Findlay Fire Department Chief Eberle will give a fire department update; Sarah Foltz with The Alliance will share an America250 update. Those who wish to register can do so at https://findlayhancockchamber.com Riverdale Craft Show RIVERDALE — The Riverdale Parent Teacher Organization will hold the Riverdale High School Spring Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 7. The show features 100 vendors offering handmade gifts, décor, art, and one‑of‑a‑kind creations. Also on site will be a bake sale and concession stand. All proceeds go directly to supporting the students and staff of Riverdale Schools. General admission is $2 while kids get in free.
