Columbus Grove High School presents "On the Town"

Columbus Grove High School presents the fast-paced musical comedy, "On the Town", running March 20 and 21. From the school synopsis: "On the Town" follows three sailors, Gabey, Chip, and Ozzie-who have just 24 hours of shore leave in New York City. Determined to see everything the city has to offer, they set off on a whirlwind adventure filled with romance, mishaps, and unforgettable encounters. As Gabey searches for the mysterious "Miss Turnstiles" he's fallen for, the trio experiences the excitement and chaos of the city that never sleeps. By the end of their day, they discover friendship, love, and memories that will last far beyond their short leave. The show's music is by Leonard Bernstein with Book and Lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, based on an idea by Jerome Robbins. It is directed by Mrs. Kristen Verhoff, choreographed by Cindy Stechschulte with student director Addy Butcher. Show times are Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 for reserved seats and $8 General Admission and are available now in the Columbus Grove High school Office during normal school day hours or at the door before each performance.
